Depends on what you mean by Western culture. There's no such monolithic social framework like that. The Westerners are as diverse & multicultural as India itself. To be honest, there's no real difference between Westerners & Indians but that doesn't mean there'd be no friction.
Where Power exists, there exists Fear. And where Fear exists, there exists Anger. And from Anger, stems Loathing & Hatred. From Hatred, new Power is born. The Ancients were wrong when they composed the Rig Veda; this is the Law of Life- and will hold true even if Humanity goes extinct or the Earth turns in a nuked hellhole or the Sun dims into oblivion.
In fact, I'd say Indians- at least the sort you're thinking of- aren't obsessed with some sort of miasmic 'Western culture' as much as they are with a mythical utopian ideal built up through Western sitcoms, Indian media, & the Internet. As such there's no difference between them & the average Indian Otaku or Gamer- except that the latter are demonized for having an undue preference for 2-dimensional art objects.
The point they forget is that their primary source of information about the Western world comes from channels a wise commentator would describe as 'aspirational' or even 'escapist'. With the lack of anything to compare what they see with, Indians confuse these for accurate depictions of Western society.
In addition, the Western narrative- at least in the Affluent picture shown to Third Worlders- is heavily tilted towards the Left, especially in Europe, possibly as a reaction to the Third Reich. Thus, there's no real exposure to the simmering underclass in the West or any anti-establishment narrative.
Youth have a wrong notion that western culture alone represents freedom and modernity. Western culture has nothing to do with either freedom or modernity. It is just the culture of another nation (US) or rather, a set of nations in the developed world (US, Canada, UK, other countries in Europe etc.). It is wrong to associate freedom and modernity with their culture alone. Aren't we modern as well ? Come on, we don't live under a cave or have lions/bears/elephants for meals. Sure, we have a lot of old-timers or conservative people, but we must realize that more than 50% of our population are below the age of 25. Only our mentality must change, instead of thinking that, "This culture is bad or that culture is bad".
We see Indian girls wearing jeans and top. I don't see anything wrong in that, but it becomes a problem only when they start seeing Indian clothing or attires as inferior. In a hot and humid country like ours, wearing jeans and top can be a bit difficult at times. These are suited only for nations with cold climates.
A lot of Indian girls listen to western hip hop/rock music. I don't see anything wrong in that too, but it becomes a problem when they start trashing Indian classical music.
Maybe the Indian government should do more in spreading awareness about the greatness of our Indian "samskari" culture. They should understand that it is facing stiff competition from the western culture.
